TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Financing growth for technology businesses will be the focus of the next Tallahassee Technology (TalTech) Alliance luncheon on Wednesday, April 18, when it convenes for a presentation on raising capital for business development.

TalTech will host J.T. Burnette, a local business leader and investor, for a presentation about the options available and the preparation needed to finance growth for a business. Burnette is the CEO and president of Burnette Construction & Development, Inc., and serves as a principal of Inkbridge, LLC, Hotel Duval, Shula’s Steakhouse, Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, Brandt Information Systems, Hunter & Harp Capital and Genghis Grill.

“Owning and operating a business involves overcoming obstacles and making decisions during every stage of growth,” TalTech Chairman David Overholt said. “This event will give TalTech members and guests the opportunity to assess and evaluate the financial opportunities for their organization.”

The luncheon meeting is at Capital City Country Club, located at 1601 Golf Terrace Dr., and is expected to last from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is no cost for TalTech members; non-members pay $20 or can join TalTech on-site.
