Emily McCarthy is an account coordinator at RB Oppenheim Associates serving nonprofits, state associations and government organizations. She is responsible for drafting press materials, social media management, web content development, integrated marketing campaigns and more.
Emily is a media communication studies and international affairs senior at Florida State University, with concentrations in public administration and Spanish. She also is pursuing certificates in Emergency Management and Homeland Security and US Intelligence Studies.

Her work has been featured in several USA Today newspapers, including the Tallahassee Democrat.
After she graduates in fall 2021, Emily plans to move to a big city, preferably Washington, D.C., to work at a public affairs firm or with the government as a communications professional.
On the rare occasion that she is not working or studying, Emily enjoys cheering on the Seminoles at football and basketball games, running on Tallahassee’s trails and going to local concerts. Emily is a Lady Spirithunter and Florida Public Relations Association Capital Chapter student member.
