Jocelyn Givens is an Senior Account Manager at RB Oppenheim Associates, where she helps coordinate and implement public relations, advertising, marketing and new-media services for an array of clients, including those in the areas of public health, technology, associations, community redevelopment, product marketing and corporate branding.
Her responsibilities include media relations, copywriting and editing, special event planning and execution, production coordination, strategic planning, digital marketing, social media engagement/networking and client counseling.
Prior to joining RB Oppenheim Associates, Jocelyn was Communications Coordinator at the Governor’s Office of Film & Entertainment where she handled public relations, marketing, and advertising outreach for the office’s tax credit program and initiatives to market the state as an ideal location for film- and entertainment-related projects. Prior to her role at the Governor’s office, she served as an Assistant Account Executive with the Tallahassee office of Hill & Knowlton, a global public relations firm.
Jocelyn earned her BS in Mass Media Studies from Florida State University in 2008 and is currently working (part-time) on her Masters in Integrated Marketing Communications at FSU.
When she’s not working or hitting the books, Jocelyn enjoys building her social media network, watching collegiate and pro sports, traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
